Farfalle with Peas and Goat Cheese and Barbecued Balsamic Beets

I realize that not everyone likes beets. [My mom loves them.] In my effort to incorporate more vegetables into our diets, I picked up some fresh beets from a local farmers' market.

(sorry for the iPhone picture)

Recipe is here.

J had to do the shopping, and he doesn't typically do this, so some of the ingredients were off, but it was still delicious. There were just a few things he didn't know where to find (or didn't know what they were). Instead of chives, we had scallions. Instead of white wine, we had dry sherry. Instead of walnuts, we had pine nuts oops J ate those while I was cooking so we had no nuts. :)

Balsamic Beets
Cut peeled beets into pieces, place in medium bowl with balsamic vinegar, dried basil, crushed garlic (a lot), dried oregano, and dried rosemary. Place in foil packets and grill on barbecue for 20-25 minutes.
